Michael Jackson's Thriller Album turns 25 this week.
It is so fun watching him dance in this video. It is from a "Motown 25" special on TV first broadcast in '83. I remember I was so happy when my mom to let me watch it. {Since she was from Michigan how could she refuse?} This is the performance where he moon-walked for the first time. Remember what a huge deal that was?

Yes, I really do remember it..and I remember what a big deal it was...weird! Thriller was HUGE in England too...and his album before Off the Wall..which I thought was so good (or was Thriller from the album Off the Wall??)
Last year when I was cleaning out my closet at my mom's house, I found the ticket stub from the 1984 Jackson 5 Victory Tour. Let's just say - this is one of the best memories from my childhood. Also, one of the things that makes me see just how tuned in my dad actually was to the things I thought cool as a teenager. It didn't get much cooler than seeing MJ moonwalking live!
