The Fight for the Senate

It was not too long ago when we were all hoping that the Dems would take the House, but not thinking the Senate was even a possibility. This seems to be changing and now we even have a shot to have Harry Reid as Majority Leader. (Thank you Mark Foley.....)

For those of you interested in the race for the Senate Chris Bowers from MyDD has a good Senate round -up which he frequently updates. Keeping track of key House races is pretty overwhelming- however with many fewer seats in play learning the key Senate races is easy. That way on election night when we see the words, "Tester wins Montana" flash across election party host Shawn's new flat screen TV we can all know what a big deal that is.

One bit of good news is Rick Santorum, pictured above trying to convince the world that WMDs were actually found looks like he is toast.
