Following Caroline's lead, Eduardo and I went to see "The Darjeeling Limited" last night on our Saturday night date night. Earlier this week I saw the director Wes Anderson interviewed on Charlie Rose which made me even more anxious to see it.
Like all Anderson's films, I loved it. I am sure all of my fellow mortgage paying mamas of elementary school aged kids would agree with me that not being able to travel often enough is one of the major bummers of being in this particular stage in life. For the 2 hours we were watching the film I felt as if I was in a completely different country, traveling the way I love to travel. I also loved the soundtrack - you can get a feel for it by watching the above trailer.
Eduardo liked it too, although he probably would have enjoyed his choice, American Gangster, more. Thanks baby for letting me choose!

Great movie..right!? I totally agree with you about the travelling part..it really took me there...just what a great movie should do...and I don't know what you thought..but the part with them running just choked me up..where they all get on the train one after the other..running...such a beautiful "cinematic" moment. For some reason it's one of those little vignettes I'll never forget.
