WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Sunday that she intends to move ahead with a vote on a resolution that labels the deaths of more than a million Armenians during World War I as genocide. The resolution has strained U.S. relations with Turkey and drawn criticism from the Bush administration. Why? I really, really don't know what Pelosi is thinking. Impeachment is off the table for a WAR CRIMINAL currently in power, but lets condemn Turkey for something that happened early last century.
Not to mention does Nancy really think that the United States has one ounce of credibility left in the world? Does she understand that she is part of the reason we don't?
I have a Turkish co-worker who unlike most Turks actually believes there was a Turkish genocide of Armenians. Is she happy with the resolution? Nope, it pisses her off. She wondered when the Turkish Parliament is going to pass a resolution condemning our genocide of Native Americans.
