This just is so Italian: Pavorotti Dies. Etna erupts.

Despite my daughter's name and growing up in an opera loving household, opera has never really done much for me. Except Pavorotti singing pretty much any Puccini aria. Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras's voices never touched me in the same way.



The only opera CD I really listen to is the kind that make true opera fans roll their eyes - it is a sort of Pavorotti sings Puchini's "Greatest Hits". I love it.
