Bring Back Habeas Corpus!!!

It is tough to name the most shameful thing that Congress has done while Bush is office. However getting rid of Habeas Corpus has to be way up at the top of the list. The fact that several Democrats voted for it is unfortunately not surprising. Senators Dodd and Leahy are putting forth the Restore Habeas Corpus Act It is super important that we all call our Senators, both Democrat and Republican, and let them know how essential this is.

Be sure that Senators are hearing from both Democratic and Republican consultants telling them that if they vote for this amendment the American people will think they are "soft on terrorism" Let them know that we are not that stupid. More info - including contact numbers here.
