I heard Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders on the Ed Schultz Show last week. I was surprised that he argued against impeachment. He thinks it would be a distraction and hurt the Democrats politically at a time when it is vital we win the White House.
I am not convinced that it would hurt us politically. In addition when I read things like this I ask myself, "do we have any choice?" Don't we have to set an example that this kind of lawlessness will not be tolerated?
