Shout Out to Norway

I also have to send some Mother's Day love to my Norwegian "host mother" Ronnaug in Lillehammer, Norway. She has been a second mom to me for half of my life now. {Signe and I are only a few years away from being how old Per and Ronnaug were when we met!}

Just last night I had a dream that Eduardo, the kids and I were arriving at their house at Ekrebakken 14. I was so happy to see Ronnaug and Per in the dream that I woke up feeling kind of sad, it has been way too long since I last saw them. From 1987-1998 I didn't go more than 2-3 years with out seeing them - and now we are pushing 9! The moral of the story is that they better get their Norwegian butts here soon! In November when the sun is barely up at 9:30 AM they should think of us here in sunny San Diego and hop on a flight.

Per and Ronnaug are pictured above with their youngest daughter Marit holding Aida. {Aida and I were in Norway for my hostsister Signe's wedding in September of '98.}
