I can't believe when I met Eduardo I hardly knew any music in Spanish. {Ricky Martin had not exploded on the scene yet...} One of the first Latino singers that Eduardo introduced me to was the Dominican Juan Luis Guerra. I immediately loved his voice. Along with the Gypsy Kings {who I did know} Guerra was the music we most often danced to.
Above is a relatively new song sung by Guerra and Mana, the Mexican rock group. Guerra is the guy with the beard. It is a lovely song and their voices go great together. Listening to Guerra's voice will always remind me of Eduardo begging me to be his girlfriend in Japan. Poor guy just wouldn't give up. This song is the perfect thing to play on Eduardo's birthday. {Thanks to Daleth for posting this song for me a few days ago.}
