GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL!!!

After over 2 years of playing soccer Aida made her first goal today. (She didn't even play offense once this fall- she started to really get into soccer when her coach always let her be defense.)

She was so psyched. The funny thing was five minutes earlier she totally broke away with the ball, she was in front of the goal with the goalie in a very bad position...then she totally froze for a very important 2 seconds and by the time she kicked it was too late. She told me afterwards she was determined to make a goal after that happened.

Too bad I didn't bring my camera. At least I know I will never forget the image of her radiant proud face.
