Surfing Diva

Aida and Pablo didn't have school today because of a teacher in service day. We met friends from Explorer at La Jolla Shores Beach. Aida, Emma and Santana had a surf lesson. (Aida's first) and they had a great time. Aida even stood up! It was so fun seeing her enjoy it so much- I mean if you are going to grow up in Southern California you have to learn how to surf!

The rest of the day we spent enjoying a beautiful October day at the beach. I wish I had more photos, but of course 10 minutes after arriving my camera battery died. I could have gotten some good ones of Aida's other friends the cutie patootie sisters Sophie and Alice, who also joined us- bummer.
