For the last week or so whenever I get up in the morning the arch of my foot hurts quite a bit- then during the day it only annoys me every once in a while. Finally I decided to stop ignoring it and figure out what it is. I looked in Eduardo's Sport's Injury Bible and it took me about 2 minutes in the foot section to figure out it is something called Plantar Fasciitis. With some rest, ice, some stretches, and possibly a shoe implant I should be able to resolve the issue. So far so good. The thing that bummed me out was this from About.com:
