Hypocrites

Eduardo's friend Titan sent this to him this morning. 3 little words show the hypocrisy of the whole immigration situation.

The thing that kills me is how poor people always get played by the Republicans. Mostly it is poor white people out there playing sheriff by joining the Minute Men or protesting outside Home Depot against the day laborers. The thing is while they are distracted, they get more screwed everyday by the right in this country. Jobs shipped overseas, Unions busted, safety rules for employers ended, the list could go on and on.

While the Republicans in Congress and elsewhere talk tough against immigrants in the end they would never pass a bill that severely punishes corporations who hire illegals because those same corporations are huge donors to the party. So they keep talking and build a big fence. Well actually probably Halliburton will build the fence...
