Another View of Kerry

A caller to the Stacy Taylor show on KLSD this morning actually went far in changing my opinion of Kerry running in 2008. His main point was that Kerry has already been "vaccinated" against attacks from Republicans.
The vaccination metaphor is interesting. I guess the logic is similar to "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

I must admit that a lot of my feelings about Kerry go back to my much written about heartbreak in 2004. However, when I ask myself if I still think he would be a good President I must admit I do. I think a lot of us heartbroken liberals need a romantic comedy movie ending moment. Where Kerry looks us in the eye tells us that he knows he let us down, he will never do it again and as he winks he says he knows we still carry a torch for him too.

Then again, maybe this shouldn't be about my broken heart, but about getting our country out of the grip of the ass-holes pictured below.....
