Trip to Madison

We all went to Madison for an overnight trip on Tuesday. Everyone but Ben and Rachel spent the night at Marty and Kay's.


















Ben and Rachel had to say good-bye to the kids late Tuesday night, because they left early the next morning for Chicago and then on to Albany.


















Here are the kids enjoying Kay and Marty's plasma TV. They are watching Howl's Moving Castle- it was made by the same Japanese animator who did Totoro and Spirited Away.


















Here we are on the way home. We stopped at a place my parents love in McGregor, Iowa right on the Missippi. Right as we were here it started to rain a bit- bringing us much welcomed cooler weather.
