Things not looking good for Busby. I am really sick of losing- but this district really was a long shot. Someone on the local news just said that there are 14% more Republican registrations than Democratic ones. From the numbers so far she just couldn't get enough of those 14% to vote for her.
Let this be a reminder to all the candidates out there. Busby was tough- but she made a point not to go too negative. Did she get any credit for it? Nope. If you just watch our local news you would think that both sides played an equal part in the mud-slinging. If you believe that check this out. I heard Busby say on Stacey Taylor's program yesterday that she thought the GOPs negative campaigning wouldn't work- that people are sick of it. I thought to myself, hmm where have I heard that before?

Wow. You are much more diplomatic and polite about these circumstances than I am. I'm so pissed I can barely see straight. The people in the 5oth deserve exactly what they're getting. It's just unfair that it affects the rest of us...
Harumph.
I believe you, Lauren... politicians have to aim to the yugular and the trash can... We have vivid examples in Mexico
