Happy Father's Day!

This is a photo from Eduardo's first day as a Papa, March 17, 1998- the day Aida was born. Aida was born a little after 6 AM and although I was exausted I couldn't sleep-I had some weird post-partum buzz that made me feel like I had taken some speed. After Aida and Eduardo took this nap together I told Eduardo I thought it was funny that after what I had just been through (No epidurals in Japan....) he was the one to take a nap first. In a statement typical of his wit he replied: "Are you kidding me? You got to lay down- I was on my feet the whole time!"
