This story about American soldiers being taken by Iraqi insurgents is horrible. It just makes the Republican's attitude towards this war more outrageous. Bush blows into Iraq for a PR stunt, the Republicans make Congress vote a up or down non-binding oath of allegiance to "winning" this war. Meanwhile no one knows how many thousands of Iraqis have died and right now 2 poor soldiers and their families are going through hell.
It also makes Hillary's attitude unforgivable.
This is a time for the Democrats in Congress to look inside themselves and start saying the right things. Not because it polls well, not because a consultant told them to, but because this administration has started a truly evil war.
OK I would like to edit this more- but I have 2 almost 5 year old boys looking over my shoulder "you said in five minutes we could play Nick Jr on the computer!"
