Next year Eduardo and I will celebrate the big 10 year anniversary. My mom is coming to San Diego to take care of the kids while Eduardo and I go away for one week. Where...... you ask? We don't know. So I am opening it up to the comments. Where would you guys go? My only rule is that we can't go and visit anyone- so that rules out Norway and Argentina.

I think Obregón is a great place to visit!..........specially at summertime!.......ahhhhh!.......hot w. and cold d.
Since Japan is probably out...my vote is for Tahiti (baby) too!!

How about that part of Hawaii you loved but couldn't exactly explore because you had tiny baby with you?
I would have to recommend Tulum. It's southwest of Cancun and pretty damn quiet. We stayed here:

And let me just say this: no electricity, candles only, outdoor bathtubs overlooking the Carribean=Romance and Relaxation. The topless beach was a bonus!
There is a place close to Puerto Vallarta going south to Manzanillo, called Hotelito Desconocido, just 10 or so palaphites, each of them different of the other, very relaxing. And if you want privacy but luxury, spa and good food, there is another place in Jalisco called El Tamarindo.
