Tuesday Tennis

Every Tuesday both kids go to the Balboa Park Tennis Club and play tennis at a free after school program they run. It is really great- well all except for the part where Pablo needs me six inches away from him at all times in the blazing sun while my friends are cool as a cucumber sitting on the benches chatting away, discussing world hunger, the weakness of the Democrats and more importantly how we feel about Brad and Angelina's new daughter's name......
Coach Jeff (far right) and the other coaches who volunteer their time have been doing it for years and it is a wonderful thing for the community. Yesterday was the last day until September and the kids got T-shirts and a goodie bag.
